The Megabass Zonk 77 SW is a 7.7cm, 10.9grams, slow sinking sub-surface minnow fishing lure that has been designed for use in bay areas and in estuaries. The lure comes equipped with a short thin glass fiber bib angled at approximately 45 degrees downward that will cause the lure to dive no more than 1m, whilst at the same time, on a steady retrieve, producing intense vibration to attract the attention of its intended prey. Megabass have incorporated a dorsal water port system into the design of the Zonk 77 SW that displaces water to create a bubble trail in its tracks to guide its intended target to it. In addition, the lure comes with a fixed double tungsten balancer system, which gives casting stability to the lure and allows it to sink slowly on a horizontal fall, giving the angler the opportunity to work through a water column in search of fish that may not otherwise want to come up to the surface to take the lure. What however makes the Megabass Zonk 77 SW stand out on its own is its small size to weight ratio, which gives the angler plenty of close-quarter casting control. With its fixed double tungsten balancer system, the Megabass Zonk 77 SW comes into its own element when being cast and worked around structures such as jetty and wharf pillars where fish are known to congregate. This is an excellent little lure to have for dinghy or kayak fishing. |
