A collaboration between Kaiyodo and Shimano has been realized.
What is Kaiyodo?
Kaiyodo is a company that produces figures and models in a variety of fields. Many people are aware of their commitment to intricate and detailed manufacturing and their high level of technical skill. Shimano, which was impressed by Kaiyodo's work, has now started a collaboration with Kaiyodo. Please enjoy the lifelike figures and lures that are created in the world of Strike Fantasy.
What is Strike Fantasy?
Strike Fantasy is a world that combines Shimano's passion for fishing and Kaiyodo's technical expertise, and expresses the fantasies of anglers in the form of figures and lures.
The busier your daily life, the more you want to go fishing. When you think back to your day, you imagine the perfect bite. The unique shapes and realistic figures that capture the moment of a bite seem to invite you into a daydream. Looking at them will make you look forward to going fishing, providing you with time to think.
Silent Assassin 129 with the essence of Kaiyodo.
This time, the lure model that will be released based on the Strike Fantasy concept is the Japanese sardine. This fish has a slightly more niche impression than the standard anchovy or pilchard, but because it is a fish that does not have a set shape, it allows for a sense of playfulness. By adding the essence of a different industry, a new perspective on design has been incorporated.
The base of this lure is Exsence's Silent Assassin 129. By incorporating Kaiyodo's playful arrangements into this highly refined lure, it has become a lure that maintains high fishing performance while also pursuing the fun of using it.
How did Kaiyodo represent the Japanese sardine?
The wavy scale pattern is reproduced with unevenness
One of the characteristics of the Japanese sardine is its large, clear, scaly pattern. This part is expressed in the lure with smooth bumps. Because it reflects light in various directions, the lure moves at a constant tempo even when simply reeling it in, creating a complex flashing rhythm. We aimed for a design that would not be easily seen off by approaching fish eaters.
Realistic and eye-catching beauty
The lure's eyes, gills, and fins are also faithfully reproduced with solid bumps. It is only thanks to the proven track record of the Silent Assassin 129 that we are able to incorporate such playfulness. It has been designed with great care so as not to interfere with actual fishing performance.
S Kurokin
The only gold-colored lure in the six-color lineup. The coloring is inspired by the pattern of sweetfish falling into rivers, making it especially appealing when the water is murky. Another feature is that the chartreuse color on the back improves visibility for anglers. The coloring is designed to increase the appeal of the flashing by incorporating holograms on the entire body to enhance the flashing effect.
