Pondstar Ball Jighead

The Jabbers Pondstar is a ball jighead for the technical paypond game across Southeast Asia, also known as the Barramundi Buffet.

It has a 3X strong hook that has a great strength to sharpness ratio. Unlike wild barramundis, farm raised barras are mostly fed with pellets from young. They focus primarily on food that falls from above and greatly sensitizes their peripheral vision, but at the expense of their lateral vision.

Short of hunting experience, the pond barramundi adapts well to stable descent and slow retrieve. You may often experience misses if you retrieve too quickly. The suction from farmed barramundis is often weak, especially if they have been feeding on small pellets. The Pondstar jighead closely resembles a sinking pellet to trigger feeding instincts, and the lead weights are kept small so they can be easily inhaled. Add a Jabbers Uppercut #12 treble to the bottom ring to minimize drop offs.
