Grappler Type C S82H-3 (3 Piece)
Grappler Type C S82H-3 (3 Piece)
Stok rendah
Unconventional specs that defy the common sense of the mid-class. The next-generation standard that also includes a 3-piece model.
The next generation standard rod for anglers who take on a variety of offshore games. The lineup was created through repeated testing on fish in Japan as well as large fish from all over the world, and is truly world standard. It covers four types: jigging, slow jigging, light jigging, and casting, depending on your style. The blanks are equipped with the basic structure Spiral X, which combines lightness and strength, and the reinforced structure High Power X, which increases torsional rigidity and reduces shaking and power loss, dramatically improving performance. It demonstrates high performance that breaks the concept of the middle class in all situations. In 2021, the long-awaited 3-piece model will be released for Type J and Type C. Whether you are fishing in the near sea or on an expedition, we want you to experience its performance and exceptional cost performance.
Key Features
A lightweight 3-piece model that maintains the same high-quality performance while improving convenience.
Compatibility List
The Grappler 3-piece model, which has been polished in the fields of the world, is not only convenient to carry but also pursues high-quality performance as a rod. The blanks, which inherit the design know-how of higher-end models, draw a beautiful bend curve without any sense of seams, and the Spiral X and High Power X provide sufficient rigidity against twisting and crushing when bent. Of course, there is no oversight in terms of weight reduction. Although it is a 3-piece rod, it is lighter than the current 2-piece rod.
World-class offshore standard rod
The first in its class to feature Spiral X and High Power X!
IMPRESSIONImpressions
Even when facing a GT over 50kg, you can fight without any worries.
I used the Grappler Type C 3-piece S82H-3 at Tokara to fight a GT over 50kg, and it came up without any trouble. It bends more than I expected, and is fully capable of handling a powerful fight. There was nothing to worry about, and I was able to fight without any danger. The Spiral X and High Power X are amazing after all. It feels very light when I cast it, and it is very easy to operate even when I let the lure swim. It is a 3-piece design, so it is convenient because it is short when stored. It has sufficient performance as a rod and is easy to move. 3-piece rods may become the mainstream in GT games from now on.

It's truly amazing that a three-piece rod has been released that has performance that will satisfy even tuna fishing.
I used the S82XH-3 to catch yellowfin tuna in Sagami Bay and bluefin tuna in the Tsugaru Strait, and in a word, I think it's a very good rod. It has strong tension and tenacity, and plenty of power. The overall balance is good, and it's hard to believe it's a three-piece rod when used normally. The casting performance is also very high. The bluefin tuna in the photo is about 65kg. Since this was a test fishing trip for the rod, I was prepared to break it, so I tried to bend it with a powerful fight, but it was no problem at all. It's quite strong. It bends well even when it's thrusting in front, so it was very easy to fight. Since it's a three-piece rod, it doesn't matter what type of car you're using, whether you're traveling by plane or fishing in a car. I can confidently recommend it to those who want to try tuna fishing, as well as those with experience.
