220mm 120g Floating
Can this flashing be stopped?
Equipped with Shimano's unique flash boost on the bespoke Heisei developed to attract amberjack! Even at the moment when the lure floats up after jerking, the internal reflector continues to appeal with sparkling flashing.
The new weight makes it easier to handle and has a fine tune that allows for good water entanglement.
Compared to the original model Osea Pencil Bespoke Heisei 220F, the center of gravity is further rearward and equipped with newly designed weights that have increased weight to readjust the posture when staying. This tuning makes it easier to restore the posture after a jerk, and is designed to reduce dive mistakes and create more complex slalom actions.
When using a triple hook, we assume #4/0, but depending on the wave and wind conditions, you can also use the front and rear sizes. In order to achieve the desired action, we recommend checking the movement and adjusting the hook tune according to the situation at that time. Also, when using single hooks, please adjust the weight of each single hook to 5 to 8 g.
Impression
Equipped with flash boost & fine tune! This is a classic pencil with a proven track record that has even more appeal.
The Osea Bespoke Heisei 220F Flash Boost is the Osea Pencil Bespoke Heisei 220F, which has a proven track record. It finally came out! This is a lure. The length of 220mm is the standard size that is most often used throughout the year in the Genkai Sea. With the inclusion of Flash Boost, there is no doubt that the appeal has increased more than ever. Rough conditions and tidal waves are situations where the hit rate is high, but it is often impossible to swim the lure all the way to your feet, and there are times when the foam is so strong that the lure stops. Even in situations like this, Flash Boost will always appeal, so I think your chances of hitting will increase. The idea is that the lure will appeal to you on its own even in situations where you cannot operate the lure properly.
The design balance of the weights has also changed from the Bespoke Heisei 220F. It is 6g heavier than the Bespoke Heisei 220F and features a rearward center of gravity design. Along with this, the floating posture is also more standing. It's easy to get into the water, so it's nice to get tangled in water when doing actions. Once you get into the rhythm of the jerk, it seems like the water becomes more entangled. Being able to act well in the water means that even under rough conditions where you can expect a hit, you can move firmly and make a strong appeal with few errors. In that sense, I think the new weight design will be even more effective. Thanks to the increased weight, I think it will be easier to use with thicker line and more powerful tackle.
A characteristic of lure action is that when it dives into the water and begins to float, it darts considerably sideways and slides as it floats. It makes irregular movements that I have never seen before, and probably even amberjack. It shows off while darting under the water, so it can be used for short jerks, regular diving jerks, and long jerks. It's fun to move. It darts and swims well even in the tidal waves, so you can fish while maintaining your anticipation.
When using a treble hook and a single hook together, please note that the water bite will change considerably, so there will be a difference in the action. The approximate weight of the single hook to be set is 5 to 8 g. It is a good idea to fine-tune the action by adjusting the hook weight, such as changing from one single hook to two depending on the situation. It is important to find the movements that you can make and that will catch fish. If you can't make these movements, you won't be able to use it consistently, and it won't lead to fishing results.
