HYPERDRIVE DESIGN
Aiming for long-lasting high initial performance, this is a next-generation design concept for bait (double-axis) reels that significantly raises the standard of all basic performance. Hyperdrive design is composed of up to 4 technologies. Smooth Hyper Double Support requires the installation of Hyper Drive Digi Gear, which maintains long-lasting rotation, and supports the drive of the gear to provide strong and light winding. A hyper-armed housing that strongly supports the internal structure and resists bending and distortion. Anode protection is a technology that reduces corrosion of metals. Also called a sacrificial anode, the anode (zinc) takes over the corrosion instead of the metal corroding.
By incorporating this technology into the reel, we aimed to concentrate corrosion on the anode plate and maintain durability. This is the first feature to be installed on Daiwa Reel.

"Easy and convenient spool replacement function"
Adopts a 3-point support structure with side plate screws.
By having a spare spool on hand, you can immediately change the spool in case of an unexpected high cut or sea conditions.
The gearbox cover can be removed by removing the three side plate screws on the gearbox side using the included spool replacement wrench (T8).
The side plate screw uses a fall-prevention structure that prevents it from falling out even if it is completely loosened, avoiding the trouble of losing it.
