Japan's valleys awaken.
The collaboration between G.Loomis, led by Steve Rajeff, and SHIMANO, a leader in the global fishing scene with its high technical capabilities, has given birth to Asquith, which can share fresh excitement and comfort in the world of fly fishing in Japan. The core of the branding is the fusion of G.Loomis' fly rod design philosophy based on Steve Rajeff's solid casting theory and high-performance blanks with Spiral X structure that has excellent torsional rigidity, created by SHIMANO rod technology. Asquith has a completely new DNA that has never been experienced before. In addition to four low-numbered stream models supervised by Mr. Satomi and five double-handed models supervised by Mr. Yasuda, the Asquith fly reel with its pleasant clicking sound will awaken the Japanese streams.
It is especially good for matching flies in early spring such as small mayflies, caddis, and midges. The style of moving only the handle compactly reduces the space required for casting, making it easy to use in mountain streams and small streams in the peak season. It is also characterized by its wide range of application, which allows it to be cast with a No. 3 line.
