Although it is a basic model, it is an attractive offshore rod with cost performance that boasts performance approaching the one rank higher Outrage.
■ Jigging model (J)
A jigging model that pursues ease of jerking. Designed with the best taper balance that reduces the physical burden during fights while retaining lifting power. And the spinning model adopts an air sensor reel seat to reduce weight and make it easy to jerk for long periods of time without getting tired. A next-generation jigging rod that goes beyond the basics.
■ Casting model (C)
Designed with the best balance as a casting rod that reduces the physical burden during fights while retaining lifting power, while comfortably handling the process of hooking a fish, such as casting distance and operability.
■ Light casting model (LC)
Developed for targets such as Spanish mackerel and small to medium-sized bluefish with PE 1 to 2. This lightweight casting model is designed to be suitable for long-distance casting and fast winding of minnows, sinking pencils, small top water plugs, jigs and blade jigs of about 30-50g, which are often used in harbors, bay mouths and coastal waters, and fills the gap between being too weak for boat sea bass rods and being a bit too strong for serious bluefish casting rods. Unlike normal casting rods, it is lightweight and easy to operate by adopting an air sensor reel seat.

Try the offshore fishing game easily! Basic offshore rod
Daiwa Technology
X45
In order to prevent twisting that occurs during casting, action, hooking, fighting, etc., we have concluded through years of research that the best way to prevent twisting is to wrap the rod with a 45° bias cross (carbon fiber etc. inclined at ±45°) in addition to the conventional structure (0°, 90° to the tip of the rod). The incorporation of X45 prevents twisting and dramatically improves power, operability, and sensitivity.
AIR SENSOR SEAT
The carbon fiber Air Sensor Seat provides light weight, high strength and high sensitivity. It is specially designed for each rod's use, providing operability that cannot be experienced with general-purpose reel seats.
*Jigging spinning and LC models only
HVF Carbon
In the carbon sheet, which has the greatest impact on rod performance, Daiwa has focused on not only increasing the elasticity of the carbon fiber itself, but also on the amount of resin that acts as an adhesive to hold the carbon fibers together. By reducing the amount of resin, which can be considered excess fat, and instead increasing the density of the carbon fiber, the "high density HVF carbon" is more muscular and powerful. It is the ideal material for rods that emphasize toughness and strength.

Tester impressions
■ Wally True Tester
<Outrage BR Nagasaki/Goto Islands Field Test>
The first impression I got from holding the "Outrage BR", the younger brother of the "Outrage" offshore rod, was that it was light and cool!!
It is a basic, high-cost performance offshore rod that is perfect for those who are thinking of starting offshore games.
First of all, the jigging model is very light and easy to jerk, and my impression after using it in a Goto yellowtail game in late autumn was that it was very light and easy to jerk.
The first obstacle that people who try jigging for the first time face is fatigue, but the lightweight air sensor seat and the long grip end that is easy to hold under your arm make it less likely to get tired. The rod's flexibility is demonstrated while jerking, and the butt has power after the fish is hooked, so I was able to catch a 12kg yellowtail and a 9kg yellowtail by relying on the rod's restoring force. The casting model is designed to be well-balanced for comfortable casting, lure operation, and fighting with fish. On this fishing trip, I was able to easily catch a 16kg yellowtail amberjack with the #5 power. A video of the powerful fight scene from this fishing trip has been uploaded to YouTube, so please take a look. The
light casting (LC) model is perfect for targets such as Spanish mackerel and bonito, which have become popular in recent years. It covers the gap between casting rods that are too strong and sea bass rods that are too soft. It is also perfect for fast pulling of minnows, small tungsten jigs such as TG bait, and blade jigging.
The younger brother of the well-established OUTRAGE series, the "OUTRAGE BR".
